10.30 a.m. Commencement of Open and Junior Piping.
11.00 a.m. (Confined to Caithness, Sutherland and Ross-shire) Heavy Events
11.00 am Dancing will commence at 11.00am this year
12.00 noon. Games Parade from the Village. Installation of Mr. Ian Sinclair Chieftain and the Official Opening.
12.30 p.m. Raising of Games Flag
12.30 p.m. Commencement of Open Heavy Events.
12.35 p.m. Junior/Youth Hill Races
1.00 p.m. Commencement of Track and Field Races
2.00 p.m. Pipe Band Parade.
2.45 p.m. Scottish Championship Hill Race
3.00 p.m. Children's Races
3.30 p.m. Pipe Band Parade.
3.45 p.m. Commencement of Tug of War
4.00 p.m. Raffle Draw
4.30 p.m - 7.00 p.m. Live music in the Games Bar.
7.00 p.m. Pipe Band Parade in village
10.00 p.m. Dance in the Marquee on the Games Park

The Games Committee will make every effort to adhere to the Schedule but reserve
the right to make changes as considered necessary.

The Helmsdale and District Highland Games Association welcome all spectators,
Athletes and participants to the Helmsdale Highland Games and
Respectfully seek their co-operation in observing all requests made by the Committee members and appointed stewards.

Drinks and refreshments are available throughout the day in the Marquee bar.
