Standard Bearer Dawn Cowie HIGHLAND GAMES 16th August 2014

This years Standard Bearer is Dawn Cowie who is the daughter of Alison and Billy Cowie and has an older brother, Dean. Dawn is a pupil at Goslpie High School and enjoys playing football for the school girls team and is also a keen Highland Dancer. She has competed regularly in recent years on Games Day. She was until recently a long standing member of the Standfast Dance group. Due to a recent admission to hospital and following surgery Dawn will not be fully fit to carry the Games Standard Flag, so she will be assisted by her brother.
We wish Dawn a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing her on Games Day.
